2014 Sooner State Dairy Show T-Shirt Contest

We are going to continue to have Sooner State Dairy Show shirts each year!  2013's winning design for this year is attributed to SHERRY CHAPMAN!  Please be sure to tell her how much you love it.

Here are the guidelines:

This competition is open to participants of all ages, and exhibition at Sooner State Dairy show is not a requirement for eligibility. Elaborate and detailed artwork, while acceptable, is not necessary. What is most important is the concept and caption, along with basic design and color choices. Entries are due by the date and time listed in the program.  Attendees of the show will vote to determine the winning design. The winner will receive a prize (TBA) at the banquet. The winning T-shirt concept will be given to a professional graphic designer who will transform the design into the T-shirt to be sold and worn by all exhibitors at next year's Sooner State Dairy Show.

Design Specifications

Please design your concept on the provided 8 1⁄2” x 11” template. Entries not submitted on the correct form will be disqualified. All designs:

must be completely original work.

must be inspired by the dairy cattle industry or dairy cattle showmanship.

must include the words: Sooner State Dairy Show and the year.

may contain a maximum of three (3) color choices. Entries can be black and white as long as colors are specified for finished product. Please use pencils, pens, or markers.

Additional Guidelines

Use of photography or reproduction of works of art is not allowed, as it might infringe upon the original artist's copyright. By submitting a design you are guaranteeing that you hold rights to everything on it, and that it does not contain any copyrighted material. All entries become the property of the Sooner State Dairy Show organization with all rights be edited, reproduced and/or sold at its discretion.

Exhibitor Shirt Pre-Orders Are CLOSED

Thank you to everyone who reserved their exhibitor shirts online with us.  Approximately 44  exhibitors did so online.  That is a great help in estimating the need.
It is also a great help in getting more contact information from exhibitors.

Shirts will still be available at the show with limited sizes on a first come, first served basis.

As we get closer to the 87th Sooner State Dairy Show, activity increases.

Special Meeting

Open meeting concerning Sooner State:  May 3rd at 11 A.M. in the OSU Animal Science building.

Annual meeting

The 2014 Sooner State Dairy Show meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 25th at the OSU Animal Science Building.  We will break for lunch after the meeting and return for the PDCA meeting at 1:00.
